Merry Christmas 2017 – A year of transition!
February – Sam left Halliburton and we moved back to Colorado Springs where I joined the team at Keller Williams Clients’ Choice Realty. Construction seemed to be calling Sam back to Colorado Springs. I’m still coaching and training agents looking to increase their businesses. We are so happy to be back home.
March – Happy Birthday Sam – Still NOT 40. We saw Elton John live at World Arena. Even after all these years he is still quite AMAZING!
April – Congratulations to the 2016-2017 Key Club board for delivering a fantastic District Convention. Now on to International!
May – Sam and I celebrated our 16th anniversary with a hike to Palmer Lake. One of our favorites. As always enjoy fishing with the “Fish Whisperer”, Paul Goldenbogen in the rivers around Deckers and Lake George.
June – First year and probably NOT the last at Country Jam w/my 92 year old grandmother. She has been going since it began.
July – Finally! We had the opportunity to golf, my dear friend, Kim Hoag’s event the Alex Hoag Swing for Sunshine. To top out off we golfed w/more friends, John and Denise Maas. We plan to be there again in 2018 – FOR SURE. Caleb and Hit the Shadows released their first music video called Triumph – we are so proud of him. Check him out here.
August – I ran the Color Run in August. If you get a chance to participate in that run, it is very fun. All that color just lifts your spirit. We lost a very special person, my uncle Wayne Buehrer. The celebration of his life was truly special.
September –We visited Chris White, Sam’s Dad in Hot Springs, SD again this year. We always enjoy spending time with him in that small town, and I have a new favorite coffee shop called Morning Sunshine. I had the opportunity to volunteer with Keller Williams in Katy, TX after hurricane Harvey. I’ve never seen such staggering devastation. I was very humbled to help. Sam’s niece, Rhianon White now Dehart got married in Shreveport, LA. We attended and it was beautiful. I LOVED the sparklers for the sendoff.
October – Sam went back to Halliburton. They gladly hired him back in to his position with a raise, full vesting and benefits – YAY! I plan to stay in Colorado Springs.
November – My sister, Tina turned 50 this year, so I spent my birthday with her in Wisconsin. We rode horses for real – Saddlebreds with English saddles. WOW – it’s been a long time. Mom, Grandma and I flew out and celebrated with her. Mom, Grandma and I then DROVE out to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. Tina, her family and I ran the Turkey Trot in Milwaukee on the lake Thanksgiving Day. The weather was amazing.
December – Sam is back to his regular schedule of working two weeks and off one. We might get to spend Christmas and New Year’s Day together. We have some big goals for 2018 and some fun travel plans, too.
If you’re in the neighborhood on New Years’s Day – Stop by. Our Annual Holiday Open House will feature a waffle bar and a bloody mary bar. You won’t want to miss out.
We miss many of our special friends and family and look forward to seeing you this coming year. We are so blessed with health, wealth and happiness.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
